Download settings

The Download settings tab is the place where we can set the basic rules for the archives that contain the photos uploaded by customers.

Additional options are available for the PRO version, which allow you to:

  • set the order of folders in the ZIP archive,

  • convert the colour profile of photos to sRGB.

Here is a list of the available options with a short explanation.

Order of folders in the ZIP file (for prints)

Determines the order in which the folders will be arranged after unpacking the ZIP file with prints. We can choose from the levels: The method of cropping, Photo format, Paper type and Number of photos - we can arrange them freely, as well as remove and add them. The right folder order helps you quickly find your way around an order placed by a customer.

Order of folders in the ZIP file (for photo products)

Determines the order in which the folders will be arranged after unpacking the ZIP file with photo products. We can choose from the levels: The method of cropping, Product name and Number of copies.

Number of ZIP files

Determines whether the order will consist of many ZIP files.

  • The whole order in a single ZIP file - one ZIP file

  • Each cart item as a separate ZIP file - many ZIP files

A cart item is one kind of prints (format and paper) or one photo product.

Folder structure for basket items

Determines how photos from different basket items will be arranged.

  • Each basket item in its own folder - photos from each basket item are placed in a separate folder named after its item number, e.g. 1-cart, 2-cart.

  • Prints from all basket items in shared folders - prints are placed directly in the shared folder structure (as if they were a single item). Photo products always remain in a folder named after the item number.

Keep EXIF data

Determines whether we keep the metadata that may be stored in the photo’s EXIF data (e.g. the original date the photo was taken).

Convert image colour profile

Determines whether photos will be converted to a specific colour profile. This option is only available for PRO accounts.

  • Don't convert anything - photos are not converted

  • Convert to sRGB - all photos are converted to the sRGB colour profile

Folder names - for the type of framing

Folder names allow you to specify the names in which the photos in the ZIP package will be located. Some folder names can be combined with each other to precisely determine what type of photos we are dealing with in a given folder, e.g. cropped-white_frame.

Original photos

Determines the folder that will contain photos that have not been modified in any way.

Cropped photos

Determines the folder that will contain photos that have been cropped by the customer or automatically.

Full frame photos

Determines the folder that will contain photos for which the full frame option was selected.

Photos with white frame

Determines the folder that will contain photos for which the white frame option was set.
