Available options

Here is the list of available options with a brief explanation.

New order notifications

Specifies to which email address notifications will be sent about new orders placed on the site. The default is the email address you used to create your Foto.Guru account.

Enable notifications for new orders

Specifies whether new order notifications will be sent.

Email used for customer notifications

Specifies what email address will be available (as a Response option), for customers who receive a notification about the status of their order.

Use SMTP configuration

Specifies whether to use custom SMTP server settings or use the default mail server.

Send test email

Allows you to verify that the specified SMTP settings are correct. A test email is sent to the email address you used to create your Foto.Guru account.

Server

Specifies the host of the SMTP server that will be used to send email.

Tip

If you are using Google’s SMTP server, note whether your account has two-factor authentication enabled. If so, we will not be able to send emails from your account.

In this case, it is necessary to create a special password for our application on your Google account. Another alternative, is to use a different email account.

Port

Specifies the port of the SMTP server that will be used to send emails.

User

Specifies the username of the SMTP server that will be used to send emails.

Password

Specifies the user password of the SMTP server that will be used to send email messages.

Specifies the file that will be shown as a logo in emails directed to customers.

Tip

The ideal dimensions for the logo, are: 80px high (proportional width).

Any other dimensions of the logo will be scaled to this size. It is worth noting the “empty space” that often occurs in the logo graphics (usually at the top and bottom). If we eliminate them, the logo will be larger and thus more distinct.
